Scalable worldwide: The Ecospheres are easily replicated for adding a new waterfront accommodations dimension to any beachfront hotel around the world without conflicting with the hotel’s existing design and concept.
Wilderness locations: The Ecosphere is transportable for the adventurous traveler who wishes to explore the wilderness in comfort. It can be located on even the most remote inner or glacial lake for the ultimate in private fishing or glacier viewing.

The Market

The Ecospheres will initially be target marketed to two market segments. One, to beachfront hotels as a way to increase occupancy with a unique getaway experience for visitors seeking a distinctively “different” vacationing fulfillment. Hotels may either buy the units outright or participate in revenue share. Two, sale of time shares through an experienced time share specialist.
Today’s demand for distinctive hotels. Bill Crow, a hotel industry analyst with Raymond James Financial, points out the demand of children of the baby boomers, the so-called
“ecoboomers drive demand,” for distinctive hotels. They tend to travel more than their parents and seek an out-of-the-ordinary experience rather than a typically standard place to lay their head. For this reason, hotels are looking for a competitive edge.
Time share sales: A number of time share companies have expressed strong interest in representing Ecosphere Hotels. The company is now choosing the one(s) it wants to work with.

Production

The Ecospheres are being designed by Graham Shannon and built by Spencer Yachts. Ltd., custom builder of the highest quality molder fiberglass yachts. Spencer Yachts are renowned for their proven offshore yacht designs, which have gained a worldwide reputation for being seaworthy and well built (Spenceryachts.com).

Competition

There is a trend toward more innovative branding in the hotel industry, in order to attract the more demanding and discriminating traveler and thus gain an edge over the competition. Examples of such forward-thinking hotels can be seen in the following links. Ecosphere Hotels is positioned to be a leader in innovative, creative, and unique hotel accommodations.
