Our new flagship is a 25 foot life boat from Scotland. It was launched in Porpoise Bay, situated at the headwaters of the Sechelt Inlet.
Porpoise Bay is a beautiful area with plenty of things to do:
kayaking from Halfmoon Sea Kayaks – if you aren’t into getting sweaty, a great little tour boat is Mermaid Boat Tours – or if you like sailing check out BC Sail Tours
For entertainment and great food, check out the Lighthouse Pub
There are endless activities and great restaurants and places to stay.
I have out fitted my boat for a journey up the Inlet with clear unpolluted waters, great year round diving with an abundance of colourful marine life.
The two Cameras I will be using are the Go Pro 2 and the Cannon Rebel T3I both cameras are high definition.
Jacques Cousteau rated the inlet as one of the best in the world, one of those sites is the 122-meter wreck of the HMCS Chaudière .This submarine hunter lies at the bottom of Kunechin Point at the north end of Sechelt Inlet. Chaudière was sunk in 1992 by the Artifical Reef Society of BC .
It has been a great stay in Porpoise Bay but Saturday morning I am headed to TZOONIE outdoor adventures located in Narrows Inlet www.tzoonie.com this is a beautiful spot.
I arrived at Tzoonie Lodge and loved it, this is true paradise, there are several cabins nestled amongst beautiful trees and a nice little creek. The outdoor activities are endless, hiking biking, kyacking, fishing, unlimited oysters and clams. The host will treat you well they are great cooks ,Art and Aleta, they have owned this paridise resort for 30 years.
